Editorial policy
Lasting Showbiz Review aims to make its claims clear, its choices visible and its corrections easy to understand. We treat entertainment memory with care, separating verifiable details from interpretation and opinion.
Accuracy and context
We check factual claims against suitable source material and make clear when a point is interpretation rather than established fact. Where accounts differ, we say so rather than smoothing away uncertainty. We avoid presenting recollection as proof without context.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for readers, not as a condition of a commercial arrangement. A partnership does not buy favourable coverage, and editorial material remains distinct from commercial material.
Corrections
If a published item contains a material error, we review the concern and correct it clearly. Readers can send the page or passage and the reason for concern through the Contact page. We may clarify wording where that improves accuracy without changing the substance.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid or partner material is plainly labelled so readers can tell it apart from editorial work. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; where they are used, they are identified as such and are not presented as documentary photographs.
